We Have a Winner!!!! (yes, again)

We just couldn’t do it… give away only ONE free house of windows that is!!  Our Bakersfield & Kern County friends are far too important…  I mean, how boring is just one winner?  Well, that and our good pals at Alpine Windows were generous enough to also give us a FREE House of Windows!!!

Teaming up with one of Bakersfield’s most listened to radio stations, KGFM 101.5, we found a very lucky person who’s superior skills in meterology were put to the test… and they prevailed!  The winner of our house of energy efficient Alpine Windows giveaway is….

Carol Moreno of Bakersfield!!!!  She put pen to paper, worked her mathematical abilities to create a scientific hypothesis and cross referenced it with her expertise in meteorology and advanced weather pattern movements to end up with the perfect conclusion… that, or she guessed really, really well.  Either way… a month from now she will be basking in the glory of a house with new energy efficient, environmentally friendly, Alpine Windows.. installed by the best in the field, Kern Glass’ expertly trained installers.  And receiving a less expensive monthly energy bill to boot!  Congrats again Carol!!!

James Tate of Lake Isabella!!!!  If you know Mr. Tate send a hi5 and super congrats his way.  It’s not often that we get to shower our adoring Kern County & Bakersfield friends with free gifts, so being able to do it at this level of awesomeness really makes our year.  A tremendous thank you to our great friends at Milgard Windows for offering up a house of amazing, highly efficient windows.  And as long as they are willing to keep the love alive, we’ll happily give away another house of windows next year.  While that may mean another 12 months of dealing with the gnarly weather Bakersfield likes to throw our way… is also means there is still hope!  Hope for not only a better tomorrow… but a more energy efficient and eco-friendly one as well!

Cooking on the Sidewalk…

While today may have been a breezy and cool 85-degrees, before you know it we'll be hot enough to cook eggs on the blacktop!  Why am I mentioning this you ask?  Because what I just wrote means that KGFM 101.5 is still looking for the ultimate closet meteorologist to guess the closest date and time it will hit 100-degrees. Now I know we've all been driving around and the little thermometer in our car has already shown 134-degrees (well, maybe it just felt that way)... but KGFM is counting the century mark using the mercury stated by our friends at the Bakersfield Californian.  We have some amazing Alpine windows ready for the taking friends... so take action, hurry up and go make your guess at www.kgfm.com.  After you spend a few more minutes cruising the likes of our awesome website that is. KGET TV-17 News Set Remodel

We are proud to announce the completion of our most recent project... the KGET TV-17 News set.  Bakersfield & Kern County's premiere local news network recently underwent a huge remodel to update what was already a great set and we were fortunate enough to help them out with the glass-work.  Along with table-top glass to protect their brand new surface, we worked closely with KGET to design and manufacture the beautiful glass wall, with TV-17 logo, that you see behind their highly awarded news talent.  Morning, Noon, Evening and Late Night... this project will be seen more often, and by more people, than any other we've completed so far.
